Educational Centre for Children – AGAPIS

The National Commission of the Republic of Moldova for UNESCO and HOPE’87 Moldova are working together to bring quality education for all in the Republic of Moldova through the implementation of information technology (IT) in trainings dispended at the Social Centre of the Church of St. Dumitru. This allows them to better integrate into society and the labour market.

The project ensures the development of theoretical, practical and creative skills for children, including those with special needs, through IT. Therefore, an IT centre was constructed and equipped with computers, scanners, printers and other equipment. Children are now able to enhance their possibilities to learn and be creative and have access to new information and develop their skills.

Thanks to this IT centre, as many as 60 children now have access to computer technology and can learn and develop their IT skills, hoping to land a job in the IT department in the future.
