Today, 22 March, marks World Water Day around the world, which focuses on the importance of fresh water.
Take a look at the pictures of a well in The Gambia, built by HOPE’87 with the support of the YOU Foundation. This measure improves access to drinking water and water treatment facilities for the population of Dabacounda and facilitates the fight against water-borne diseases such as diarrhoea. This also contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: Water and sanitation for all by 2030.
