Ukrainian citizens who have fled to other countries to protect themselves and their families from war need our help and support! For this reason, HOPE’87, in cooperation with its local non-governmental partner organisation Speranta 87 Moldova and with financial support from the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), has been fulfilling this honourable task for over a year. Together we have helped more than 8,000 Ukrainian refugees by regularly distributing food, providing psychological support to women and providing school supplies and toys for children.
Last week, the Speranta 87 team visited the three largest Moldovan cities of Balti, Falesti and Chisinau, where Ukrainian refugees are most concentrated, and distributed food to them to show that there is no shortage of good people in the world and that there is hope for peace, justice and a better future!
