These very poor and poor households in seven villages in the commune of Bama were trained on how to carry a pregnancy safely, how to eat during pregnancy, how to ensure good nutrition for their children aged 0 to 5 months and 6 to 23 months. They also received training in agriculture and livestock breeding and benefited from agricultural inputs such as seeds and organic manure as well as poultry with a view to undertaking an income-generating activity. This can help them increase their income in the agricultural and livestock sector and achieve their financial autonomy.
