On Children’s Day, SPERANTA 87 organised, in collaboration with HOPE’87, the Ukrainian Consulate and the State Chancellery of the Republic of Moldova, a big party for Ukrainian refugee children in Bălți, in the northern part of the Republic of Moldova. There were balloons, fun games and delicious sweets, and backpacks containing school supplies were distributed to the children. They had lots of fun and joy and – most importantly – lots of positive emotions at this difficult time for them. A warm summer and holidays now await them, during which the children will have plenty to play and draw until the new school year starts in September. Many thanks to the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) for funding this project!
