This project is a logical continuation of the Big Dutchman I project implemented from 2020 in the municipalities of Koloko in Burkina Faso and Finkolo in Mali. It is essentially based on the modern cage farming system, which makes it possible to increase the profitability of small farmers by increasing the production of eggs and by reducing the diseases. With this project, cages have been promoted and distributed in several cities of Burkina Faso and Mali, which has enabled many poultry farmers to visit the site based in Koloko in Burkina Faso, where they were able to talk with the project team about this type of modern rearing of 200 layers for the promotion of Easy-Step 56 cages. Also, the project team trained five technicians in the fields of assembly and maintenance of cages for their durability with the aim of making modern poultry farming more sustainable in Burkina Faso and Mali.
