This cultural project on the Senufo habitat began in January 2023 and ended in December 2023. It was funded by UNESCO through its Participation Programme. Its objective was to protect, restore and promote the Senufo culture in Burkina Faso (Koloko and Bobo-Dioulasso) and in Côte d’Ivoire (Korhogo).
During the implementation period, the following activities were carried out: i) informing and sensitising stakeholders, ii) planning activities, iii) selecting experts and consultants as well as participants from the two countries, iv) organising workshops and the symposium, v) organising preparatory meetings with implementing partners such as the Senufo Centre of Bobo- Dioulasso and vi) finalising the schedule of the planned project activities.
