Giving hope to farmers

The beneficiaries of this project were 400 farmers and their families, who live in the target localities, in particular the Southern Department of Haiti as well as the whole country sharing the indirect benefits resulting from this project. Generally, the project contributed to the enhancement of the food security through an optimised and sustainable agricultural production in the Southern Department of Haiti. At the end of this project, the farmers were encouraged to cultivate the land in a sustainable and efficient way, they were trained in the use of tools and agricultural techniques and now benefit from optimised harvests and are able to feed their families and thus contribute to the economic development of their community.
