Inclusive education is the DNA of HOPE’87. In Moldova, in the city of Ceadâr-Lunga, Speranta’87 is currently implementing the pilot project „Strengthening Access and Participation in Education for Ukrainian and Moldovan Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities“.

Here, parents and teachers came together for the initial workshop. This workshop lasted three days and focused on inclusive education, positive parenting, and bullying prevention, with the aim to educate parents and teachers on how to better care for and support children with special educational needs. With the collaboration of specialists from the Republican Center for Psycho-Pedagogical Assistance of Moldova, over 50 participants have engaged in these training sessions. The objective is to equip them with the necessary social tools and skills to integrate affected children into their social environments, especially among their peers. This initiative is funded by UNICEF Moldova and supported by the governments of Italy and Norway.
