Heinz Vettermann left us forever three years ago.
He shaped HOPE’87 like no other.
Until his retirement, he was actively involved in our organisation for many years as a board member.
From 1993 to 2020, he was a member of the Vienna state parliament and local councillor, and for 21 years he was also the education spokesman for the SPÖ Vienna.
Throughout his life, Heinz campaigned for social justice, for support for children and young people with problems . He lived for those around him.
And he was a wonderful friend to us. We will not forget him!
