Last week the country representatives of HOPE’87 Senegal, M. Boubacar Mané and Mrs Claudia Jerger, Vice President of the YOU Foundation – Education for Children in Need (Germany), paid a visit to the President of the Republic of Senegal, H.E. Macky Sall.
The President was informed about the progress of the project „Cité Baraka – from a slum to dignified living“, which is currently in its final implementation phase. The President congratulated the delegation to this successful project, providing modern accommodation, health and educational facilities as well as vocational training and income generation for about 210 families. This project is carried out in cooperation with the Senegalese Government, Casa Orascom, the Departement of Dentristy of the University Cheikh Anta Diop Dakar and GIZ.
