In the frame of the project “Improving access and participation in education for Ukrainian and Moldovan children with special educational needs and limited opportunities,” our team visited Ceadîr-Lunga, where the second group of children with special needs receives individualised assistance from specialists, among them physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists as well as Russian and Romanian language teachers.

To ensure the sustainability of the project, the team met with the director of the “Speranță Oferită” centre in the city of Ceadîr-Lunga, Lyubov Ivancheva; this institution has been working with children with special needs for several years, aiding in their rehabilitation. Thanks to the productive collaboration, the beneficiaries of the project also include children who attend the “Speranță Oferită” Centre in the city of Ceadîr-Lunga.

“We are happy that there is a centre in your city, supported by the municipality, which helps children and their parents. We are open to collaboration and ready to provide training for teachers and parents, and we also plan to purchase the necessary equipment for the rehabilitation of children in your centre,“ emphasised the director of the NGO “Speranța’87,” Luminița Drumea.
