The Patria Lukoil refugee centre in Chisinau, Moldova, houses around 70 families with women and children since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. The non-governmental organisation SPERANTA 87, in cooperation with HOPE’87 and with financial support from the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), supports this refugee centre as part of the project “Support for Ukrainian refugees, mainly women, boys and girls, in the Republic of Moldova”. During their last visit, the project team and the volunteers made the children happy by providing them food as well as gifts in the form of much-needed school materials and backpacks. Through this kind of support, the project makes a great contribution to their future so that the children can learn well and have a happy life ahead of them!
