The intervention that took place between April and September 2010 focused on the agricultural population and destitute families.

Objectives of the project consisted of distributing seeds and ferilizers to 2.200 farmers. So far a total of approximately 3.000 farmers have already been reached. Approxiately 950 orchard farmers received urea fertilizer to meet the crop cycle. 100 landless farmers have been trained and provided with agri extension service tools kits (spray pumps and orchard clippers), 100 female-headed households received kitchen gardening tools an approximately 250 acres of land were tilled. 50 rainwater harvesting ponds and 30.000 running meters of irrigation channels were rehabilitated. Meanwhile, more than 450 "cash for work" beneficiaries were engaged to rehabilitate the above mentioned irrigation channels and rainwater harvesting ponds.
