World Water Day

Today, we celebrate World Water Day. Since 1993, this United Nations Observance Day is held on March 22nd every year to focus on the importance of freshwater and raise awareness of the 2 billion people currently living without access to safe water. A core focus of World Water Day is also to inspire action towards Sustainable Development Goal 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030.

Postponement of extraordinary General Assembly

Due to technical reasons, the extraordinary General Assembly will be held digitally on Monday, 28th of March from 14-16 pm.

Yesterday, Vice President of the YOU Foundation, Mrs Claudia Jerger, and HOPE’87 Sénégal Country Representative, Mr Boubacar Mané, met the Senegalese President, H.E. Macky Sall, to inform him about the advancement of the project “Cité Baraka – from a slum to dignified living” in Dakar.

Invitation to an extraordinary General Assembly

On 22nd of March 2022, HOPE’87 will digitally hold an extraordinary General Assembly from 14-16 pm.

HOPE'87 hopes to be able to welcome all of its members again in good health and possibly in person at the next General Assembly.

Culinary art of the Senoufo

In the cross-border region of Burkina Faso and Mali, HOPE'87, in cooperation with UNESCO, launched the cultural project "Discovering the Senoufo Culinary Art in the Context of Nutrition, Health and Local Economy" with the aim of preserving, protecting and passing on the local know-how of the Senoufo cultural heritage to younger generations.
