HOPE'87 General Assembly 2018

On 24 October 2018, HOPE'87 General Assembly took place at the Royal Archives (Haus-, Hof- und Staatsarchiv) in Vienna's inner district.

Under the chair of Ambassador Dr. Brenner, Head of the EU and International Services of the Austrian Parliament, and Secretary General of HOPE'87 Austria, Robert Ottitsch, they presented an informative presentation giving a general overview of the activities of HOPE'87 in the previous 12 months. 

The conference also celebrated HOPE'87's 31 years of work with its renowned partners such as the European Union, ECHO, ADA, UN-HABITAT, UNESCO and The Aga Khan Foundation. 

During the General Assembly, the 2018 Activity Report, the financial reports and the external audits were approved by the board members. The board members highlighted the organization's high-quality work and expressed their gratitude towards all HOPE’87 staff members for their dedication and commitment. Special recognition went to all the Country Representatives and their staff members for being the backbone of the organization as a whole.

HOPE’87 wishes to thank all guests, representatives of the diplomatic community, members of the different ministries and the Federal Chancellery as well as partner NGOs, who honoured the meeting with their presence. Special gratitude goes to the Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, H.E. MD Abu Zafar and the Ambassador of the the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Mansoor Ahmad Khan and Ms. Mihaela Manoli, Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova, as well as the Madam President of the Austrian Chamber of Pharmacists and several more guests that have greeted us with their attendance.
