In celebration of International Women's Day

Today we are celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women all over the world. 

This year, International Women's Day takes on an additional, very special meaning as women stand at the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis in so-called system relevant professions. These professions include e.g. health care work and caregiving.

Resilience and income generation in the Sahel - 6-approaches for a sustainable development

The project "Resilience and Income Generation in the Sahel - 6 Approaches for a Sustainable Development" started on July 1st, 2020 through a generous donation from "ZF hilft" and aims to enable a more efficient and economical use of the available drinking water as well as to improve the quantity of required water for agriculture in Koloko (Burkina Faso) and Finkolo (Mali).

The consortium project "RéCouVrer - Strengthening the resilience of vulnerable people in West Africa after the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic” was launched on 1st November 2020 by the lead organization Caritas Austria and is generously funded by the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC).
