Malian poultry farm in full swing…

 

In support of local Malian as well as Burkinabe farmers “UNITED TEAMS - the strategic alliance of the YOU Foundation and HOPE’87” established a poultry farm in the village of Heremakono, right on the border of Mali and Burkina Faso, about 45km to the East of Sikasso, the capital of the 3ème Cercle of Mali.

With regard to the coronavirus related situation and in line with the recommendations of the Austrian Government issued today Tuesday 10th of March 2020 noon time, I have enacted Phase Two of our organisational HOPE’87 Security Plan, which reads as follows:

YES Center of Tangail- Inauguration Ceremony

The YES Center of Tangail is heading into its second successful year. 

The initiative: empowering youth and especially young women through job and skill training, has been a driving force for this project. 

The YES Center has trained 525 youth (80% being females) with life skills, improving their economic self-reliance as well as their self-empowerment. 

Miles for Knowledge
