Volkswagen Junior World Soccer

From 13th to 16th May the football team of the middle school “CEM Médina Chérif” in Senegal’s southern province Casamance, a HOPE’87 project, participated in the Volkswagen Junior World Masters 2016. This year the championship was held as run up to the European Football Championship in Clairefontaine (France).

Happy smiles in Tharpaling Monastery

In April 2016, HOPE’87- Bhutan Country Representative Ms Karma Yangdon was on a monitoring mission to Bumthang to evaluate the project development and to meet with the Head of the Tharpaling Monastery, His Eminence Chungtruel Rimpochey as well as with the novices.

HOPE Centre for human development

This project focused on providing an effective training program for the professional growth of the teachers and enhancing student learning outcomes in public, non-profit and low cost private school sector in Pakistan. The project was co-financed by the Austrian Development Cooperation and formed part of a larger program approach. The project partner Trust for Education and Development of Deserving Students (TEDDS) has been working in the education sector for more than 13 years providing quality education as well as enhancing the standard of education and status of teachers in the society.

Preserving Equal Citizenship in Pakistan

Preserving Equal Citizenship in Pakistan" focuses on encouraging the formulation and adoption of a strategy on religious tolerance and its large-scale acceptance among youth in Pakistan. The project was co-financed by EuropeAid, ADC and HOPE’87.

The popular German blogger Katharina Leuck visited Senegal for three weeks to teach young Senegalese men and women how to share with the World their daily live in the slum of Baraka in the middle of Senegals capital Dakar.
